Rte 4: Coastal Road from Caesarea to Rosh HaNikra, Israel |
Route 4 is a coastal road, leading to Rosh HaNikra, Israel's northernmost point, on the Mediterranean Sea. Just south of Haifa, Rte 4 becomes an inland road which hugs the mountains. At this point, the newer road, Rte 2 becomes the coastal road. Characterized by fabulous caves and grottoes, the wild sea of Rosh HaNikra whips in and out of natural caverns, spraying onlookers with refreshing white foam. Find artist studios in the mountains just east of the coastline.
