Winter Paradise for Vacationers
Farmers and agriculturalists pray for rainy winters, but this area of Israel, near Bet Shean, is a winter paradise for vacationers. Called the Negev of the North for the similarity in climate, the area around Mt Gilboa experiences less rain than the rest of the country, allowing hikers and nature enthusiasts to explore in cool, dry weather.
