The cable car operates all year and hiking paths are accessible at the top of the mountain and below.

Approx. 15 min. drive to the shores of Lake Kinneret (Sea of Galilee).

Suitable day trips from this point include Rte 87, 91: Golan Heights to Mt Hermon and Kfar Tavor to Dan River.

Enter Rte 6 - the Trans-Israel Highway and Israel's only toll road - and exit at the very last exit.

Turn right to Rte 65 in the direction of Afula. Follow Rte 65 past Megiddo Junction to Ha-Sargel Junction. Turn right onto Ha-Sargel Junction (Rte 675) and continue to Navot Junction where Rte 675 meets Rte 71.

Turn right onto Rte 71 in the direction of Bet She'an.

Follow Rte 71 to She'an Junction. Turn left onto Rte 90 in the direction of Tiberias.

At Tsemakh Junction, turn right onto Rte 92.

Follow Rte 92 around Lake Kinneret until Rte 869 on the right.

Turn right onto 869 and follow signs to Maale Gamla.
