Marzipan Museum PDF Print E-mail
During the months of January and February, the almond tree blossoms and blooms with delicate pink and white flowers. The trees symbolize Tu B'Shvat, the New Year of the Trees. Kfar Tavor, an agricultural settlement in the north, opened a museum, workshop, plant, and shop dedicated to marzipan - that sweet confection made from almonds - one of the major crops in Kfar Tavor.

Marzipan Museum was first opened in 1998, but moved to the new visitor center in 2001. Create your own marzipan sweets to take home. Learn about almond trees and marzipan in a short humorous film, and enjoy samples of marzipan and almond juice. Visit the exhibition of sculpted marzipan. See the factory where the marzipan is made.

All products are kosher.
